Ancient Egypt comes to Brookside as year 3 discover

the ancient art of making papyrus paper.

Year 3 used their ICT skills to demonstrate

what they know about the Ancient Egyptian Pyramids.

Year 3 have written some sensational stories based on the book

Journey. 

Year 3 are exploring 3 d shape.

Corners, vertices, edges and faces et al. 

How many 3 d shapes can you spot when you are 

out and about ?

Well we have been observing our plants in action. In week 2 the plant in 2cm soil was in the lead, but now in week 3 the plant with 3cm soil has taken he lead.  So with one week to go it is all getting very exciting!

Year 3 are working scientifically observing plants growing in three different conditions over a month.

The growth this week has been incredible as you can see!

Children in Year 4 have been observing the processes of evaporation and condensation.

Year 3 went into our wooded copse to trigger our creative senses in literacy.

Preparations are underway for the big Jubilee picnic.

Year 3 have been making collages of Ziraffe Girrafe. We are learning abuot this story in literacy. Ziraffe was given as a present to France in 1827.
