It's been a busy Science day today starting off with an amazing Science assembly in the hall with the whole school. We hope the children were inspired to become a scientist. In Year 1 we continued to explore materials and their properties. We found out which materials were absorbent. 

Exploring patterns in our environment. In shape and colour patterns and number patterns. 

Maths, exploring our numbers up to 20 in lots of practical ways. 

We finished our Clarice Cliff pottery in art club. We will continue club in the Spring term.
