To support the National Curriculum for English from Year 2, we follow Pathways to Write, which is a text based approach. The programme focusses on mastering the English skills and allowing the teachers freedom to plan for quality cross curricular writing whilst embedding the skills needed to be not only confident, but creative writers.

Literacy outdoors
What a wonderful week to take literacy outside. The weather provided a wonderful muse to help us improve our sentences when setting a scene, be it under the beautiful blue sky or in the shade of our wooded copse.
