Children can bring a healthy packed lunch or can have a healthy hot lunch.
In common with the majority of schools locally, our school lunches are supplied by Edsential. Edsential set the prices, not school.
Mrs Galloway, our school cook, prepares freshly cooked food everyday. Children’s favourites are Roast Dinner Wednesdays and special theme days (Bonfire Night, Chinese New Year, Easter and of course, Christmas)
School Lunches cost £2.90 per day or £14.50 per week for children in Key Stage 2. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free lunch as part of the government scheme 'Universal Infant Free School Meals'.
All menus run on a 3 week cycle and support ‘Sugar Swap & Juice Free Days’, as well as Meat Free Fridays. Also available daily, is freshly baked bread, seasonal vegetables, salad, fresh fruit and organic yoghurt. Menus meet the ‘School Food Standards‘ and the ‘Food for Life Served Here‘ Bronze criteria, approved by the Soil Association ensuring the food on the plate is high quality.
