KS2 Disco
Yesterday after school, KS2 held their Autumn disco. There were lots of fantastic dance moves on show!

Year 5 - Mapping Annie Edson Taylor's journey down river
Today in literacy, Year 5 plotted the journey of Ms Taylor as she travelled down stream in her balls towards the raging falls of Niagara.
Children showcased their use of fronted adverbials and also wrote down what emotions Annie would have been feeling.

Wax Resist Art
After creating their own wax resist boards, children created abstract art. The children used a range a scratched marks to add contrast and patterns.

Children in Year 4 have been using everyday items to explore the human digestive system.
Y5 - Literacy - What kind of person was Annie Edson-Taylor?
This morning in literacy, we were looking at various words that could describe Annie Edson-Taylor the main character, from our class book this half term, Queen of the Falls.
If we were unsure on a word, we used a dictionary to find its definition.
