Today, Year 5 had the opportunity to visit the Catalyst Museum in Widnes.

Whilst at the museum, we were lucky to be able to travel through space thanks to the planetarium. During our time in the planetarium, we could see all the planets and constellations that we can currently see in the Northern Hemisphere. We also watched a short film, narrated by Rupert Grint, discussing life on other planets.

After the planetarium show, we then had the opportunity to explore the museum. We had lots of fun in the lab and then had the chance to look at the fantastic views the observatory had. We could see all around the local area including the River Mersey.
