This week, Year 4 turned science into a hands-on adventure! Using everyday foods and items,  the children explored what happens at each stage of the human digestive system. From breaking down food in the mouth to simulating the stomach and intestines, the classroom was full of excitement and curiosity.

The activity helped pupils understand how our bodies process food and absorb nutrients, all while having fun with practical experiments. There were plenty of “wow” moments as they saw digestion in action—without leaving the classroom!

Well done, Year 4!
