Year 5 have been busy acting like scientists this week as they set up an investigation into how water evaporates in different parts of the classroom. Together, we planned four locations and made sure the test was fair by giving each cup exactly 50ml of water and using identical cups. The children then placed the cups around the room, made predictions about which would evaporate the quickest, and will now monitor them over the next week to see what happens.
