Year 4 children have been busy working alongside Wendy, a talented local artist, to create beautiful lanterns ready for the Ellesmere Port Lantern Parade. The classroom was buzzing with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of determination as the children embraced a real “don’t give up” attitude.
From planning designs to sticking, shaping, and decorating, the process involved lots of collaboration—and even more glue! It was wonderful to see the children supporting each other, solving problems together, and showing resilience when things didn’t go quite as planned.
We can’t wait to see their lanterns light up the parade and bring a magical glow to our community celebration.
Well done, Year 4!
