This week children in Year 4 have been consolidating their understanding of number and place value, focusing on 3-digit numbers. As part of their learning, they created fantastic Place Value Monsters using Base 10 equipment to represent hundreds, tens, and ones.
The activity was a fun and creative way to reinforce their knowledge - the children loved bringing their monsters to life and explaining the value of each part.
