Our Year 5 class had an amazing day at Chester Zoo! We arrived full of excitement and couldn’t wait to explore. One of the highlights was visiting the new Heart of Africa area, where we watched the meerkats scurrying around and the giraffes towering above us. The tropical butterfly house was another favourite — it was warm and filled with beautiful butterflies, and we even spotted a giant moth chrysalis! Later, we enjoyed lunch before seeing the red pandas relaxing in the trees. It was a fantastic trip filled with fun, learning, and plenty of animal adventures!
