This week in PSHR(S)E, children in Year 4 explored why making mistakes can actually help us learn and improve. We read The Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires, which helped us think about what happens when we don’t succeed straight away and how that can make us feel.
The children talked about times when they have found something tricky or felt disappointed when things didn’t go to plan. We discussed why mistakes are an important part of learning and how they help us understand what to try next.
