As part of our Pathways to Write learning, Year 2 children have been busy designing and labelling their own imaginative trolls. They used exciting adjectives to create expanded noun phrases, helping to make their descriptions more detailed and engaging.
The children showed great creativity as they thought carefully about their troll's appearance, choosing words to bring their characters to life.
We were impressed by their fantastic vocabulary - stinky, grotesque, hairy face, tiny black feet
