This week in Mastering Number, Year 2 children have been focusing on ‘5 and a bit’ to help develop their fluency and confidence with number calculations. Through a range of practical activities and games, they explored numbers that are made up of 5 and some more, helping them to recognise number patterns quickly and efficiently.
