What a lovely festive afternoon! The Y6 children supported our lovely Reception class make some festive calendars and cards. 

They will be sitting together to enjoy the pantomime on Thursday!

Last week was Anti-Bullying Week and the theme was 'Choose Respect'

The Nursery children talked about respecting each other, staff, possessions, and themselves.

They created a class collage using different skin tone colours, which we have displayed in our classroom.

Last week Nursery did lots of shape activities.

They explored and matched them, named them and counted corners and sides.

The Nursery children collected natural objects outside, then arranged them in their sticky bottles to make beautiful collages.

The Nursery children have been reading 'One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab' and discussing how many feet different creatures have.

 They then made footprints with paint, counting the footprints as they walked.

The Nursery children went on a shape hunt around the classroom, and then sorted the shapes. We then talked about how many sides and corners each shape has, and sang some shape songs.

The Nursery children are working on making and counting sets, and recognising and sequencing numerals to 5. We sang number rhymes together and then did lots of activities around the class such as number puzzles and counting candles on playdough cakes.
