Today, our school came together for a special mental health assembly, giving pupils the opportunity to think about their wellbeing and the importance of looking after both our minds and our bodies. The assembly encouraged open conversations, kindness, and ways we can support ourselves and each other every day.
We are also excited to share that we will soon be introducing Mental Health Ambassadors for Years 4-6 These pupils will play an important role in promoting positive mental health across the school, helping to spread awareness and reminding everyone that it’s okay to talk about how we feel.
This is an important step in building a supportive, caring school community, and we are very proud of all our pupils for engaging so thoughtfully with this topic.
