We were having so much fun, we forgot to take more photos! We loved making reindeer food with Mrs Smith and Mrs Osborne and enjoyed playing party games with Mrs Lomas. 

Year 5 completed their Reindeer Run this afternoon. Sporting their fabulous handmade reindeer face paints and hats, they all looked fabulous as they were dashing around the playground!  Thanks for raising money for school funds!

Year 3 have been learning about Rocks this half term.

As part of that we have learned how fossils are formed

and how soil is made.

Year 3 have been learning how coding is used to create computer games.

We have been learning about conditional statements, eg: 

If my caveman touches the axe it will disappear. 

Thanks to all those who got on their antlers and raise money.

Year 2 had an amazing Christmas party today.  They made reindeer food, played Pass the Parcel and ate lots of sausage rolls and cup cakes!

Year 2 have had a great time raising money for school by completing a reindeer dash this morning!

We have been learning all about how to make baby bear's chair using cardboard cylinders.

Knowledge:  To produce a finished structure and evaluate its strength, stiffness and stability.

This morning, Year 5 spent their literacy lesson creating a timeline of key events from the book we've been reading this term, The Lost Happy Endings.

In our computing session this afternoon, Year 5 delved into the world of coding.

We reacquainted ourselves with coding simple commands to our sprites. We also looked ar debugging our work to fix any errors in the code.

In Year 5 this afternoon, we looked at how we should cite websites in our work.

We learned about plagiarism, sources, and bibliographies.  We learned why it's important to cite where we have got our information from and when.
