Year 2 have used balances to explore how to measure mass in grams and kilograms.

In our science lessons, we have been looking at the phases of the moon. We learnt that one complete phase lasts 29.53 days. 

Using the knowledge we’ve gained about the phases of the moon, we carefully carved the phases into the cream of an oreo biscuit with the spoon.

This morning, children in Year 4 have been using Numicon to support their understanding of adding fractions. 

The Nursery children loved this story, and discussed why animals wouldn't be their perfect mummy!

Year 3 have been learning how to write factual texts through researching all about Blue Whales.

Year 3 used their Atlases to locate where some of the most famous artists came from. 

Year 3 have been locating art in and around Ellesmere Port. They then created a map of the local area to illustrate where these sculptures could be found.

This half term, we are designing and building a sling-shot car.  The children carefully followed instructions and used hot glue guns safely to construct the chassis.
