Nursery Police Visit

The Nursery class had a visit from the police. They dressed up as mini police, took their fingerprints, and explored the police car. We talked about how the police can help us and other people to stay safe, and what number we phone in an emergency.

Sound and Pitch

Year 4 have had a very noisy afternoon creating straw pipes and a pipe flute. 

The children discovered that: the shorter straws produced a higher pitch note and the longer straws produced a lower pitched note.
