Year 4 have used all their new knowledge of complete and incomplete circuits as well as conductors and insulators to create a burglar alarm.

Great Science and great problem solving!

Y6 designed their waistcoats - we decided to go for a Christmas theme.

We chose our preferred fabric and used templates to prepare our waistcoats.

Using safety pins we joined the different fabric together, creating seams.

Finally, using the running stitch, we sewed the waistcoats together…

Year 3 started December off with a bang where they joined other schools from Ellesmere Port to Sing the Christmas story. Just for the record we sang our own song fantastically to everyone.

Science lesson exploring using scientific equipment. 

We went orienteering in Year 1 for our geography lesson. 

Year 3 learn how to manipulate a single image into a variety of images.

Children in Year 4 have spent the day making lanterns ready for the Ellesmere Port Lantern Parade and Christmas Light Switch On. 

The children have reinforced their measurement and shape knowledge as well as learning about structures.
