In our computing sessions this week, Year 5 learnt how search engines, such as Google, work.
Search engines crawl and index the web, use algorithms to rank content, and then show you the best matches for our search query.

Independent Research
Children in Year 4 have been independently using websites to gain facts about stalactites and stalagmites. The children will use these facts next week to write explanations and fact files in Literacy.
