In Design and Technology Year 3 have been using their coding skills to create a safety device that can be seen in the dark.

Year 3 practised their ICT skills in literacy today and wrote thank you letters to Father Antony Dutton for hosting our class at St John's Church yesterday.

Year 3  have been learning about how even children are subject to the powers of advertisers.

We had a big discussion about the pros and cons of advertising.

Year 3 have been learning how coding is used to create computer games.

In our computing session this afternoon, Year 5 delved into the world of coding.

We reacquainted ourselves with coding simple commands to our sprites. We also looked ar debugging our work to fix any errors in the code.

In Year 5 this afternoon, we looked at how we should cite websites in our work.

We learned about plagiarism, sources, and bibliographies.  We learned why it's important to cite where we have got our information from and when.

Well done Year 6  - a fascinating day of learning how to stay safe in such a wide variety of ways.
