Today, we were all treated to a brilliant assembly called "What You Should Know About H₂O", kindly funded by United Utilities.
The children discovered the three states of water—solid, liquid and gas—and had a chance to see how water changes and moves through the world around us. We dived into the water cycle and thought about where our water comes from, how it’s cleaned, and the journey it takes before it reaches our taps.
Perhaps the most important message of the day was about how precious water is—and how we can all do our bit to save it. From turning off the tap when brushing teeth, taking a shower over a bath and collecting rain water to water plants.
We all left the assembly feeling like true water warriors!
